Justin Bieber's manager has a bone to pick with the folks behind the Grammys.
After the teen idol failed to earn a single nomination Wednesday night, Scooter Braun took to Twitter to vent his frustration and blast the Recording Academy for the snub.
"This time there won't be any wise words, no excuses, I just plain DISAGREE," the 31-year-old mogul tweeted to his 2 million-plus followers. "The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one."
Braun continued: "The hardest thing to do is transition, keep the train moving. The kid delivered. Huge successful album, sold out tour, and won people over…this time he deserved to be recognized and I don't really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision I don't agree with."
The Schoolboy Records honcho was referring specifically to Bieber's third studio album, Believe, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in June, sold more than 2 million copies, and has spawned three top 10 singles: "Boyfriend," "As Long as You Love Me," and "Beauty and a Beat," featuring Nicki Minaj.
Braun did take a moment to congratulate Carly Rae Jepsen, who's signed to Schoolboy, for scoring two nods for "Call Me Maybe," and had this to say to all the other nominees.
"So to all those nominated…you do deserve it. You worked hard and u earned it. Just feel like so did JB," he wrote.
Braun concluded with a message to Beliebers.
"To his fans…looks like we get to stay the underdog a little longer," he tweeted before adding, "Life is long, with many ups and downs, but we get to keep going, everyday brings a new opportunity. NOTHING GREAT EVER CAME EASY."
