SHALIMAR - A man was caught with his pants down near an area populated by school children and now faces a loitering charge.
On Jan. 15 the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office received a report of an intoxicated person near 12th Avenue and Eglin Parkway in Shalimar. A deputy found the man behind a business on 11th Avenue.
"Upon contact," the deputy wrote, "(the suspect) had his blue jeans halfway down his legs and had his hands located near his genitals. (The suspect) was moving his hands in a back and forth motion.
"When I announced my presence, (the suspect) dropped a bottle of lotion and his hands were in white latex gloves."
