I refuse to go on whitehouse.gov and sign anything, but this has my full support. get rid of standard time and keep daylight savings - I like seeing the sun rise and I like the sun setting later.

I believe states have the right to opt out. I don't think there's a de facto federal law that says we have to observe DST.

As I understand it, there are a few states that don't observe this insanity. Arizona is one of them. Ever since I moved away from there I've had to deal with this annoying BS. It's great when suddenly you have to put a kid to bed an hour earlier when they aren't tired and the sun is still beaming in through their window. :x
