Police: Teacher forces student to perform lap dances in class

PITTSBURGH (KMOV) — A computer technology high school teacher from Perry Traditional Academy, Pittsburgh, is accused of sexually assaulting a female student.

According to KDKA, Michael White, 29, forced a 16-year-old female student to perform lap dances in front of male students in his informational technology class. The victim also says White kissed her on the lips.

Pittsburgh police say assaults also resulted out of school after White convinced the girl to leave school during school hours.

White allegedly drove the teenager to his home and gave her marijuana and alcohol before having sex with her.

According to court documents, White was charged with two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, one count indecent assault, selling or furnishing liquor to minors, sexual assault, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor and institutional sexual assault of a minor.

Criminal complaints say that White is also accused of fondling and touching a 15-year-old student.

White has been removed from the school until charges are resolved.
