We stopped at an arts and crafts store this past weekend and there were patriotic style decorations out already....and the 4th isn't for 3 more months :|

Yup, I haven't had Good Friday off in almost 20 years, and that was only because the people that owned the company I worked for in Vermont were Catholics.

Half our company puts the time on the board and takes it anyway.. I'll skip this year (well mainly because Im not religious) But the other reason IS I want to waste some other time this summer...

our stat holiday system is messed up....they give us some fluff holiday in Feb called Family Day and don't give us Remembrance Day


and we have one in August called Civic Holiday, yet never Christmas Eve or New Years Eve off



and with both days listed above, only parts of Canada get them off depending on the province :|
