Miley Cyrus isn't one to dwell on the past. Shortly after reuniting with fiance Liam Hemsworth, the 20-year-old pop star felt obligated to debunk a rumor claiming she'd recently spent time with one of her famous exes.
"I literally haven't seen Nick Jonas in years. Don't believe everything you read, folks," Cyrus explained March 27. The So Undercover star's tweet was in reference to a Hollywood Life article claiming the Disney Channel alums -- who dated as teens -- "seemed to be having a business meeting" at Paty's restaurant in L.A. March 25.
"Why are magazines allowed to publish straight bullshit?" Cyrus asked. "Look at my profile pic. Look at my finger. Idiots. I couldn't have 'ran' into anyone because I haven't [been out to eat] in public in weeks because of the amount of paparazzi outside my house."
Later that night, the "Can't Be Tamed" singer reminded her Twitter followers that she is "focused on music and music alone."
Despite the drama, Cyrus seems to be in much better spirits -- due in large part to Hemsworth's return to L.A. The actor had retreated to his home country of Australia in February and returned four weeks later; The Hunger Games star also traveled to the Philippines during that time for work commitments.
"Things are going well," a source told Us Weekly of the future spouses, who broke up twice in 2010. "They are happy."
