You never know when you are "live". I was setting up presentation laptops for a big announcement the Gov't was presenting - a press conference. The main speaker in the next room was preparing, and forgot he had a wireless mic attached. "God, I hate these f***ing news conferences. Great day for the minister to have a sick day. S**t flows downhill, ya know?" blared over the P.A for all to hear. The room erupted in laughter and then he said "oh f.." then some sounds of fumbling, then the clicking sound of a microphone turning off! :D

Funny, but he didn't last in his position long... And, sadly, there was no YouTube back then, and the cameras and reporters were just setting up!

And, if you'll notice, most news conferences in my province have wired microphones now! :D
