We still don't know much about the seven people who died when a cargo plane crashed Monday at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, but dashboard camera footage surfaced Tuesday morning on the website LiveLeak — and it provides more answers than you may even feel comfortable watching.

In the video, the plane ascends before veering off course. Eventually the fuselage becomes nearly perpendicular to the ground and quickly plummets into the airfield. The crash claimed the lives of seven crew members, according to a spokesperson for the plane's carrier, National Air Cargo. It remains unclear how, exactly, the plane crashed. According to an updated press release on the carrier's website, the plane was transporting several vehicles to Dubai, United Arab Emirates:
At approximately 7 a.m. EST, National Flight NCR102 from Bagram to Dubai, UAE with seven crewmembers on board crashed on takeoff. None of the crew members survived. This was a purely cargo flight and no passengers were aboard. Cargo consisted of vehicles and routine general cargo.

National will release additional information as it becomes available, in cooperation with government authorities. Our focus at this time is on the family members of those we've lost, and on assisting the NTSB and Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority in their investigations. As of now, the cause of the accident is unknown.
