PLAINSBORO – A man who was upset with maintenance workers who had come to his apartment to fix his washing machine was arrested and accused of pulling two handguns and making terroristic threats, police said.

The incident occurred Wednesday in Building 20 at the Pheasant Hollow Apartments, according to a report.

Maintenance workers told police they were threatened by a resident with handguns while fixing his washing machine.

Upon arrival, officers met with the resident.

“Investigation at the scene revealed the resident owned two handguns that were reportedly used in the incident,” police said in a report.

Police seized two handguns, a Taurus .357 magnum and a Beretta PX4 Storm, the report states.

The resident, Steven E. Eisenberg, 55, was taken into custody and charged with making terroristic threats, police said.

Eisenberg, who is unemployed, was released after posting $1,500 bail pending further court proceedings, police said.
