A fight broke out between two workers at Burger King over the rude way one employee asked the other to make a burger.
Police were called at about 1:24 p.m. on May 12 to the fast food restaurant, 18301 S. Harlem Ave., because of a fight between two employees, according to a report.
A witness told police a female employee asked her male coworker “in a rude way” to make a Whopper sandwich, according to the report.
After being told by the man to watch what she was saying, the woman responded by saying “You are 27 years old and still live at home and have a job at Burger King.” According to the report, that comment ignited the argument.
The female coworker had argued with another employee within the past several weeks, according to the report. The male coworker has been with Burger King for five years and never had an incident with another employee.
No one was hit during the argument and witnesses did not recall hearing or seeing anyone threatened.
Neither employee was arrested.
