Lisa Robin Kelly (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/Lisa+Robin+Kelly), an actress best known for her long-running role as Laurie Forman on "That '70s Show," died at the age of 43 on Wednesday.


Kelly had been staying at a rehab facility in California when she passed away in her sleep, according to TMZ (http://www.tmz.com/2013/08/15/that-70s-show-star-lisa-robin-kelly-dead-at-43/).


Kelly's agent told the gossip site that the actress had voluntarily checked herself into treatment during the past week.

The Connecticut-born Kelly debuted in an episode of "Married..with Children" in 1992. She also appeared on television shows "Murphy Brown" and "Charmed," as well as the TV movie "Amity Dollhouse." Kelly's best known part was on "That '70s Show," where she played the older sister of Topher Grace's character Eric Forman. When she left "the FOX sitcom after five years, she was replaced by Christina Moore.

Oh, OK thanks Hal....did not know that. Another website said it was a "recent picture". You can't believe everything you read.

i didn't know her name, but knew her character from that 70's show... did you not watch that one? :-k

she was only on the show in the beginning...Kelso had a fling with her if I remember correctly

sounds right... i didn't remember the show without her, so i must not have stayed until the end of the series :shrug:

Actually she was on for a few seasons, went away for 1, came back for 1, and then replaced. Her character married Fez (played by Wilmer Valderama, the "foreign boy" as Red would say) in order for him to stay in the country and frequently starred in Fez's fantasy sequences.

My favourite scene I remember her in was when the priest (played by one of the actors of Kids In The Hall) visits and tries to "reach" the kids. She's even more flirty with him than with anyone else and plays cards with him. She lays down 6, 6, 6. :)

reminds me of Mackenzie Phillips from One Day at a Time.....her part lessened each season until they were hiding her behind the furniture in most scenes :lol:


then we found out about her drug habits...
