A 41-year-old West Palm Beach woman was arrested Wednesday for having a sexual relationship with a teenager and sending nude photos of herself to him, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
Lisa O'Neill admitted to having sex with the boy, but said he seduced her while she was under the influence of alcohol, according to her arrest report. The married woman, who owns a flooring company in Royal Palm Beach, remained in county jail late Thursday in lieu of $37,000 bail.
The teen told deputies the pair's relationship changed in June of last year, when O'Neill started texting him about "sexual stuff" and they began flirting. Three months later, he said, she had a party at her house and gave him several Bud Light beers. He left the party after drinking the alcohol, but came back later when she invited him via text message.
The two had sex the first time that night, according to the report.
In the months that followed, the teen asked O'Neill for naked photos and videos of herself, and she complied. Police recovered seven photos from the teen's phone: four of O'Neill naked and three of her in her underwear.
The two continued having sex, once at his request, according to the report. The most recent time was in May, when O'Neill texted the boy and asked him to meet her at a shuttered Toys R Us store.
During that rendezvous, O'Neill told the boy that "she could get in a lot of trouble" if anyone found out about the relationship, the arrest report says.
On Wednesday, a deputy showed up at O'Neill's house and asked her to come to the sheriff's office for questioning. She declined, and was arrested.
O'Neill is facing sexual assault and cruelty toward a child charges.
