When you look at the world through a purely scientific perspective, us and everything around us is composed of molecules. The molecules just move at different speeds and are arranged in different densities depending on the object or organic form.

I've been in 5 different Christian based churches (for more than one visit) and none of them demanded for money because of my presence there. I could donate if I liked, but in most cases the issue wasn't even addressed out loud.

Besides...if you want to get serious about it, how is any church that asks for donations different from Masons, Lions, Grand Order of Water Buffalos who ask for monthly dues? Even AA and NA associations are run on voluntary donations...why should a church meeting be any different?

I've been in 6 car accidents, fell 100 feet backwards climbing a mountain, cut my head diving into a river requiring over 30 stitches, been in about 50 fights and ran into a 6 inch metal beam and was knocked out cold.

the reason that abrahamic religions teach that mysticism and energetic practices are evil is that at the top there is a desire to prevent humans from "walking amongst the gods" as it were - the combination of conscious spirit and physical matter is nitro+glycerin when combined properly, and that is the ostensible immortal god-heritage we inherit as part of being a human. so each of us has the architecture, the wiring, to get it done. like jesus said we are all as he was. to touch on the above...most of the original Bible stories were passed by word of mouth...for almost 300 years at one point.


Then someone decided they should do a Reddit page and collect all of the stories and and parables in one place. So depending on which branch of Christianity you follow and old or new testament, what you're really reading is man's take on events that did or didn't occur, depending on the witness/disciple/storyteller...reporter of the time.

JC could have been one the best confidence men in the last 2500 years convincing folks that paganism and non belief were to be cast aside and this 'new' way is what people should do.

I've always admired Jesus because the Romans of the time weren't exactly compassionate when it came to people spreading dogma that disagreed with commonly held beliefs.
