A Justin Bieber fan has confessed to spending more than $100,000 on plastic surgery in an effort to look like the teen rocker.
Toby Sheldon, 33, a Los Angeles-based songwriter, has had chin reduction and eyelid surgery, multiple hair transplants and face filler procedures.
“Once Justin shot to fame his face was everywhere and all I kept thinking when I saw his picture was, ‘I want to look like him’,” Sheldon told the Daily Mail.
“It took three transplants and a total of $21,000 to accurately lower my hair line, close off my temples and grow back my bangs,” he explained of his efforts just to make his hair look like Biebs’.
“By using Justin’s charming baby face as my inspiration, I’ve been able to restructure my entire look to maintain a much more youthful appearance through plastic surgery,” said Sheldon, while admitting to be obsessed with looking young.
Concern about that has led many doctors to turn Sheldon away, he admitted to the Mail.
When he wanted to have his eyelids lifted last year to make them look more like Bieber’s, he said he had to go to eight different surgeons before one would take him as a patient.
“Everyone thought I was crazy to be obsessing over such a tiny detail,” he revealed.
Sheldon said he still has more work to do but believes he does finally look like Bieber, and “couldn’t be happier.”
