Thinking about Halloween and reminicing about stuff that frightened the hell out of me way back when...

The made-for-TV-movie Duel. Directed by Stephen Spielberg, starred Dennis Weaver (McCloud). Very well done movie. Whenever I'm on a road trip and a semi comes up fast in my rear view, I still get a slight chill up my spine.

I was a kid and the family would watch either Dragnet or Adam-12 or one of those cop dramas. I still remember when our B&W TV displayed the following and absolutely freaking out and running to the safety of my bedroom...

starred Dennis Weaver (McCloud). ...

Dennis Weaver went to a party at the Playboy Mansion.
He was hitting on one of the bunnies which pissed Hugh Hefner off.
They got into a fight, and Hef soon had the Weav on the ground wailing away on him.
Well Mick Jagger happened to be at the same party and started jumping around them yelling...

HEY! Hugh...Get off of McCloud!

I remember The Night Stalker...gave me the creeps but I don't remember an episode.

Remembered something else creepy...a movie they repeated on TV a few times. It starred Martin Landau. Landau was a murderer, and after axing a woman to death he manaiacally said "rest in pieces! Ha Ha" and then had this totally psycho look that really stayed with me.

:axe: :maniac:

And Karen Black was in a movie or something on TV with a possessed doll...that creeped me out as well.
