Good morning! Are you still in your early-morning fugue state? If so, you may not have had your daily realization that Jennifer Lawrence is a perfect human being.

In that case, please enjoy the video below of the demigoddess coming to the rescue of a distraught, pint-sized young girl.

The footage, taken at The Hunger Games: Catching Fire's London premiere on November 11, shows the 23-year-old Oscar winner making a beeline for the fan section of the red carpet, only to encounter a seemingly-impenetrable barricade. (Just like Katniss and that invisible wall in Catching Fire — are we right?)

Two men help her break through the fence, though, and she heads right to the young girl, kneeling down and talking with her for nearly a minute. She does saintly work consoling the little lass — beaming, signing an autograph, rubbing her shoulder, and posing for a photo.

Finally the girl seems to be OK again, nodding and hugging the actress twice, burying her face in J.Law's super-fab red Dior Couture coat. (We're jealous.)

We hope the girl wasn't sobbing over seeing Katniss with a short blond pixie cut. Jen's latest haircut has its fair share of detractors, but we think she can do no wrong!
