An ongoing investigation led Bellevue police officers to arrest a man on dozens of counts of possessing child pornography, authorities said.
Christopher Brackett, 36, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
He faces 38 counts stemming from photos found on his computer, according to prosecutors.
Other information found on electronics seized from Brackett's home indicate he met a 16-year-old girl while playing an online game.
Police said Brackett pursued a relationship with the girl and even traveled to Ohio to meet with her on two occasions.
Authorities said Brackett allegedly posted the pictures on Craigslist when the girl threatened to break up with him. Police said Brackett visited the teen two different times.
Police said Brackett sexually exploited a minor in Iowa in 2003.
A future court date has not been set.
