A young driver who lost control of her car when a passenger unfastened her bikini top has been cleared of causing a fatal accident.
Brittany Lahm, 24, took her hands off the wheel when teenager Brandon Berman untied her top ‘for a joke’ while she was driving.
Miss Lahm became distracted and the car careered off a thruway in New York state and flipped, killing Mr Berman on his 19th birthday and injuring several others.

The pair had been returning with friends from a day trip to the beach at Jersey Shore when the accident happened.
After hearing Mr Berman had also put his feet in Miss Lahm’s face and opened an umbrella in the vehicle, an appeals court in New York ruled she was not responsible for the crash.
According to the New York Daily News, the court said: ‘Brittany did not anticipate that he would suddenly pull the strings on her bikini top, thereby causing the top to fall and her breasts to be exposed’.
