My significant other side swiped a boulder backing out on Turkey day.

What do you think guys? How much to repair the front fender? No frame damage as far as I can tell.

I'm guessing $800-$1000 with paint. But I have no clue

up here that would be 2500...at least

my Pa was mildly rear ended at a stop sign, his 2006 Buick Allure took almost 6 grand for a dented back bumper...different car, country etc but I've seen quarter panel replacements/fixes that are over 2000 for sure (up here)

Focus? Replacement OEM fenders are probably not too expensive. Aftermarket would be even less.

Replace the fender, R+I the door handle, belt molding, mirror and trim panel. Refinish the fender and blend the door for color match.
I'm guessing $550 labor and $150 part?

Thanks guys! The consensus seems to be more than the $500 deductible.

Its a shame you cant just order the fender blue from Ford.. It seems to be a modern car..

Would still need blending into the other colour on the car even a newish car can fade quick

Yep, also there are variations in the color from the factory from day to day. If you take a blue fender off one and a blue fender off another manufactured weeks/months apart at the same or different plant the color may not match.

Hmmmm... makes me wonder if I should find someone privately. The door is scratched all along the bottom also it turns out.

Yeah but damn.. The body shop doesn't do any better.. I'll take a new Ford painted blue any day..

IMO, check the local salvage yards Rainbow.. They'll pull the part for you.. Get the body shop to bolt the new one on for 200.
