The moral of the story: Don't mess with The Bieb.
A 17-year-old teen in Sydney Australia who hurled raw eggs at Justin Bieber during a concert on Friday night has been arrested for gatecrashing the concert and causing property damage.
On the bright side, at least they weren't hard-boiled...
The kid, whose identity has been withheld because he's a minor, was taken into custody Thursday morning and charged with breaking and entering, trespassing and malicious damage.
Video footage from the gig at Sydney's Acer Arena posted on YouTube shows several eggs raining down on Bieber. The globs just barely missed their target, but he seemed unfazed and kept on the show (unlike, say, the Kings of Leon who scrapped a U.S. concert after being bombarded by pigeon poop last summer).
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, promoters alerted police after learning about details of the incident on a social networking site and an investigation revealed the youth had broken into the venue's roof and allegedly tried to pelt the pop star from above.
The teen offender, whose cell phone and other items were confiscated as part of the probe, was granted conditional bail and ordered to return to Children's Court on June 2.
Bieber's camp was mum about the incident, and the "My World" crooner has so far declined to address the egging on his Twitter page.
