TORONTO — A Canadian airline tried to score some good will points with a holiday stunt for some lucky fliers on a recent flight.
WestJet asked travelers at the Toronto and Hamilton International Airports what they wanted for Christmas. Once they boarded their flight to Calgary, a team of shoppers went to work, reported the Calgary Sun.
Over 150 WestJet employees purchased, wrapped and delivered the presents to about 250 shocked passengers at baggage claim.
“We know that Santa has a very busy schedule at this time of year, and can’t be everywhere. So we did what WestJetters do best, and helped him spread some Christmas magic to our guests,” the company wrote in a blog on their website.
