BATMAN may be Gotham City's saviour but he is terrorising Townsville's libraries.
Police were called to a fire in a returns chute of the Aitkenvale Street library on Petunia Street about 1.45am Tuesday.
There was minimal damage but witnesses reported seeing a man dressed as Batman running from the scene.
An 18-year-old man is reportedly being questioned by police.
