Prices for recreational weed are right up there with illegal weed right now. $50-60 per eighth. If you buy illegal weed in bulk (which you can't do with legal) it goes down to $30-40.

Now that people can grow their own plants the supply will quickly catch up to the demand (6 to 12 months). The question is whether the growers will sell on the legal or illegal market.

In Colorado, you can grow your own plants and you can share what you grow yourself, but you cannot sell it. Marijuana can only be sold in Colorado with a license.

One of my workmate's smokes quite a bit, the prices have certainly gone up a fair bit from when i used to dabble :lol: Crappy soap-bar is about £70 an oz (used to be £40-£50) and skunk is about £260 an oz iirc (used to be about £140 for epic stuff :lol: ). Too expensive now, i'll stick to beer and the odd freebie :mrgreen:
