A group of clubbers were left temporarily blind after taking a dangerous drug known as ‘Brain’.
The party-goers lost their sight after swallowing the liquid substance while on a night out near Rhyl, North Wales.
A man and three teenagers were taken to nearby Glan Clwyd hospital yesterday where doctors are still trying to save their vision.
All four who took the drug, which contains amphetamine commonly known as speed, are expected to recover their sight.
But police have issued a warning urging others not to take the drug.
North Wales Police Chief Inspector Jeff Moses said: ‘We would strongly urge those who supply or use Brain to stop immediately.’
As well as being struck by temporarily blindness, the liquid also causes increased pulse rates, palpitations and numbness of the limbs.
