Kraft mac and cheese is terrible, but I was raised on it so I think its good, I could see why someone wouldnt like it. I have had some gourmet mac and cheese that was the greatest ever at a tiny restaurant in NJ.

I like the mac & cheese that they have at Famous Dave's, I always get it as one of my sides. Baked or restaurant made is always better than the boxed stuff. But I ate a ton of mac & cheese out of a box when I was a kid, so I even like that too.

They have a gas station chain over here called "Fas-Mart" They sell mac-n cheese and wings and cream chipped beef there in the little kitchen.. Jesus Christ that shits good..

My wife stumbled on a GREAT recipe for this...see Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook. The secret is -- squash! No flavour at all to it, it adds nutrition too. It makes it creamier without adding fatty stuff.

And, if you have kids an easy way to do this is to buy baby food and toss one of those little jars right in.

Plus, adding HP sauce and/or sirircha (sp) sauce is my thing, baby.

I used to love the Kraft Mac & Cheese, but after finding that recipe, no way and its actually cheaper than making KD if you make a big batch.

Comes in a packet (you'll get it in Asda/Tesco), 125ml milk, 300ml water, bit of butter, bring to the boil, chuck in the pack contents, stir for ages so it doesn't stick to the pan, once it thickens up fire it on a plate and add red/broon sauce as required :tup: [/goofrecipe]

It's supposed to be molten and creamy under the top crust. Cut a piece, throw it in a bowl, mix it up so the crust is integrated into the cheesy goodness, and it's all good.
