Legalized weed = Weed stocks going crazy!
Bought 5,000,000 shares of ERBB on January 23rd @ 0.009 per share (Approx $50k total investment)
Sold this morning for 0.0149 per share ($74,500 or $24,500 profit).
For those of you who remember these are the kinds of wild stock swings that internet companies did before the dot com burst. I was too young to get in on it then but I knew something like that would come along again. It has and it's all thanks to legalized marijuana.
If you take the plunge and pick up a few weed stocks (most are very cheap right now) I suggest AGAINST buy and hold. If you do you might end up holding the bag when everyone else has gotten out!
Note: Sold my full position in ERBB. Still own 50,000 shares of MJNA buy waiting to get out soon (up 20% today alone).

I was nervous as hell. I waited for a down day and decided to go for it. My daughter can now afford a better college, or a really good college for a single year

Or even just $500. I don't like to go below $500 because of the per trade fee.
I can spend $500 on one night on the town with the wife. I decided to start with $500 for a couple weeks then just went for it.
That $500 would be about $800 if it didn't get lumped in with all the other shares.

Just out of curiosity, who's the best broker to go with if one was going to do the online thing?

I use USAA because I'm a member. $8.95 per trade unless you have $50,000 in assets with them. I would probably go with eTrade if I wasn't with USAA.

Sometimes it pays to be greedy.
ERBB is down today (-10%) but it's up over 300% from the time I mentioned it in this thread. If I would have held on I'd be shitting myself.

That is sweet. Next time a new state legalizes I'd like to give this a shot. I feel like it's too late to get on the bandwagon now though?

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.......
ERBB is now at $.06 a share and my original buy was under a penny ($.009). My $50k would be $300k+ if I would have just held on longer!

That's still dirt cheap. Good time to invest in it you think?
