I'm gonna go see it, solely for the purpose of watching an anthropomorphic raccoon run around fucking shit up.

There's a whole mess of junk from the Marvel universe they could do with this, but we'll have to wait and see how everything shakes out.

I could list the original storylines, but I think they're altered for the film.

The trailer piqued my interest. Having never been an avid comic book reader I know nothing of the storyline, but it looked like something I would enjoy watching.
I'll probably wait for the disk version to be out though, I'm not much for theater sitting.

looks to me like they're trying to hard to be funny...and the cutesy racoon bits will ensure I don't see it :meh:

who knows, could be a good one like 5th Element

James Gunn wrote and directed it... the same guy that did Slither with Nathan Fillion.

And going by the comics, that raccoon is anything but cutesy.

Apparently Marvel expects it do extremely well... it looks like they greenlit a sequel to be released in 2016 already.

There was an article not too long ago where Stan Lee was talking about the future of the MCU. He said they were working on figuring out how to do Doctor Strange. I'd really like to see how they'd pull that off.

That looks awesome, especially the part where the raccoon adjust his junk while walking down the hall.

Yeah, that cracked me up.

I saw the trailer in the theater the other day and this movie looks like a bad Riddick rip off with too much Star Wars (lol and that's saying something). But it's Marvel, so now I have to see it because chances are its probably pretty good.
