CAMDEN — State authorities say a southern New Jersey woman who had sex with a 13-year-old boy and also took pictures of him engaged in sexual acts with a younger girl is now headed to prison.
Rachel Baker of Winslow Township woman received a 10-year sentence Friday.
The 23-year-old Baker had pleaded guilty in September 2012 to aggravated sexual assault for engaging in sex acts with the boy on three occasions. She also pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault, conspiracy and child endangerment for directing an 8-year-old girl to perform oral sex on the boy.
Authorities say Baker took a photo of them in the act and sent it to Gary Cramer, a 29-year-old Bridgeton man she believed was her boyfriend.
Cramer, who allegedly directed Baker to photograph the children, is due to stand trial in May on charges of aggravated sexual assault, conspiracy and child endangerment. He’s also accused of possessing and distributing child pornography.
“This woman’s conduct in sexually exploiting young children was completely depraved and callous,” said Acting Attorney General John Hoffman. “We’re making it a top priority to uncover these sexual predators and put them behind bars, where they can’t harm vulnerable children.”
The investigation also resulted in charges against another woman, Stephanie Bennett, 27, of Woodbine. Authorities said she took a cell phone video of herself performing oral sex on an infant boy.
Bennett pleaded guilty to child abuse and neglect charges and was sentenced last December to time served. She had served approximately two years in jail before being sentenced.
