I'm sorry to hear about your loss GF. I lost 3 of my friends when I was 28-32 yrs old and they were 'the nice guys'...good people who never hurt anyone else. It makes you stop and think about your own life...how much of it you take for granted. Because what you say is true and no one likes to say it out loud...one day you're here, one day you are not.

Worked in the yard and around the house all weekend. Ordered some trees last weekend and they came on Saturday and we got them planted on Sunday. The neighbors behind us are obnoxious and since you need a permit to put up a fence that is higher than 6 feet, we went the natural route and bought trees that will make a natural privacy fence. After they take, these trees are supposed to grow anywhere from 3 to 5 feet per year, so even though it won't be immediate, it shouldn't take them long to be tall enough to block out the neighbors. Plus, these trees grow anywhere from 20 feet to 60 feet tall, depending on what website you read. We got 6 of them and they should grow into a really nice privacy fence. Plus, I just like trees, so having them back there will be an added bonus.

my best friend has his yard lined with these...trust, they'll grow that tall! make sure you top them semi regularly so that they grow out a little more, otherwise they may stay a little thin. :tup:
