Thanks....it's just tentative size-wise. Have to go out in the yard now and measure and stake it out and see what it will look like. We may tweak the dimensions a bit. But at least with doing a deck, we can get it started and go at our own pace instead of needing all the money at once.

So my partner in crime gets talked into a last minute business trip to cover for someone who has to have some minor surgery unexpectedly. Mind you she was off W-F ill herself, but agreed.

We leave home for the airport at noon for a 2:30 flight. The final get airborne at 4:30 after a maintenance delay, then get diverted to BWI for weather. UGH. After sitting at BWI for a bit, they pilot tells everyone to deplane and the cancel the flight! What? United offered to bus everyone 3 hours to the original destination, but by then the rental car counters would be closed. Double Ugh. Her and a coworker had to rent a car and are driving the 3 hours. They will be in the hotel about 1:00 am.

That's 12 hours from the time we left the house. From home to the hotel is a 9 hour drive. :|

We had our hottest day so far here yesterday, the air gets just gross in our building...so the rain is a welcome respite from the heat. I don't mind driving in it because compared to the snow storms we get, it's really not too bad. Perspective I guess and what you're used to

Went to the NHRA Mile High Nationals again this year and in between runs, they brought out the car from the above article and they actually ran it down the track against an original Challenger (1971 or 1972 I think they said it was, I don't remember exactly). Well, the new Challenger smoked the old one, and at altitude the new Challenger ran the 1/4 mile at just over 118 mph in just over 12 seconds. The announcer said at sea level, that would be closer to a 10 second car in the quarter mile. Pretty dam impressive for a stock car you can go out and buy at a dealer.

With both our dogs, when they were puppies, we kept their kennel in our bedroom for the first few weeks and they both seemed to sleep fine. read that too, it does seem very odd that bodies would be stinking to high heaven right after a crash like that, it usually takes a day or two for a body to really stink - so if they were stinking on Thursday, that's definitely a bad deal. but that bit goes into the realm of....curious but totally unknown and good luck actually proving it without really deep access.
