It's a semi-good base. It cuts down on several hours of preparation as opposed to starting from scratch. Proper chili is a time intensive endeavor. It takes a while if you want to get it right when working from nothing.

Red Dog Mine is located at 68°04′19″N 162°52′34″W. It is in the DeLong Mountains in the remote western Brooks Range about 90 miles (140 km) north of Kotzebue and 55 miles (89 km) from the Chukchi Sea.

Red Dog Mine is very isolated. It is located within the Northwest Arctic Borough, an area approximately the size of Indiana with only 11 communities, none connected by roads, with a total population of only 7,208 people at the 2000 census. I remember restacking some WHMIS tags in tiny, tiny boxes. Had a pallet of about 120 cartons and thought - no problemo, this will take a few minutes.

The little bastard boxes were about 4 x 7 inches and weighed 48 lbs each :x

Good news is the laptop is so heavy and bulky I can use it as a jack stand when it finally dies.

I'm trying to backup nearly 500 gigs of data. I'm getting hard disk error messages but it doesn't specify which disk. I'm thinking it's the HDD not the SSD.

Been getting failure messages every 20 minutes or so but it continues to copy files, I hope none of them are corrupt. I have so much shit scattered over so many externals I don't know what I have a copy of and what I don't.

Pretty sure I got most of it. Windows updated overnight and on reboot the drive was no longer detected. I'll mess with it when I get home from work. The only thing I didn't get transferred over was some porn. :banghead:
If I pull it and plug it into my dock I may be able to access it. Or I've a data recovery app that works pretty well but takes a long time to run.

Only the league offices were tax exempt. The teams were never tax exempt, and the teams handle their stadium financing. One has nothing to do with the other, except that the league did participate in some loans to teams to assist getting a deal done.

MLB dropped it several years ago and I don't believe the NBA ever was tax exempt. That leaves just the NHL and PGA (and LPGA) with that status for the national organizations.
