Yep this Federal election was a 'lesser of two evils' kind of deal. The one thing Trudeau has going for him is that he's surrounded himself with very smart people. But if you didn't like his father I can't see liking his son. Whether or not you agreed with his leadership, Pierre Trudeau was probably one of the most intelligent (at least on paper) PM's we've had. His son has but a shadow of his father's mental capacity, and he's not half the orator either.

The websites don't give you the best quotes, I found that out when I was shopping around. Go thru the website, pick out one of the local agents near you, and have them quote it out for you. I had a cat once and it was a total asshole, but not too surprising given it was a domestic cat that got knocked up by a wild one (we just saw a cute kitten and took it in).

The pit, she's almost 15. She hasn't eaten in 2 days and the last time I saw her walk it's was painful, now she can't even stand. I'm hopeful she goes out in the yard tonight, because I'm hating the idea of taking her in to be put down.
She was a rescue we found as a pup, and been with us longer then my daughter, so its sad. My wife's a mess. I thought she may be gone this morning, but she keeps plugging along.
If we have to out her down, that's going to be tough. But what can you do ... she is immobile at this point.

It made me sick that they were so ignorant to the human suffering that they would politicize the event over all else. And for that matter how do you force someone into getting evaluated? How do you force them into treatment? The basic idea behind civil rights forbids it. It's a Catch-22.

I don't see any gun control correlation in those numbers. France is tight and has a higher suicide rate than the US. The UK is tight and it's half of France.

Anecdotally, it impacts lethality here. The male suicide death rate is far higher than the female rate in the US. But the female attempt rate is higher. That's most often attributed to method. Men prefer guns, women use less violent methods like pills.

Ironically, those stats show low suicide rates in Muslim countries. We need more virgins.

I never go to McDonalds, but I know you can ask them to make your food fresh and they'll do it. It'll just take a little longer for them to give it to you. If you go inside during busy peak hours, your food is pretty much guaranteed to be made fresh. If you're going through the drive thru, then you're shit out of luck.
