I looked all around the voting area to see if there was a list of qualified write-in candidates and couldn't find any for the "position". I ask the voting attendants and they told me that if it's not up on the wall with all of the info, then there probably isn't any. There wasn't, I checked twice. I come home and look up the qualified candidates on the GA Secretary of State website and can't find anything regarding write-in candidates for this one "position". And it doesn't look like anyone's filled this "position" for years. There is a political position that's been open in my county for ages and no one's filling it. So there must be some stuff that's not getting done here.

I'm really trying not too as I'm aware that getting hand oils or whatever on bulbs causes them to get hotter so I've used either gloves or just held it with a paper towel when changing... it just seems to be happening so frequently anyways

I had similar issues on my previous Camaro. In my case it was the passenger side front turn signal bulb. I replaced the housing, same. Eventually traced the problem to a bad ground for that particular light.

That makes sense too, the only major thing I've replaced on this car in 12 years is the fuse panel, so something with the electrical is fucked, maybe grounding? I should probably take it in, but honestly if all I have to do is replace a $10 lightbulb every 6 months maybe it's one of those 'if it's not broke don't fix it' scenarios :lol:

At on the 11th day of the 11th month at 11am when WWI ended, we have a moment of silence to remember the soldiers who gave their lives for our country and for freedom in all our wars.

I always particularly think of my grandfather who served in the joint Canadian-US unit The First Special Service Force in WWII. He was a great man, I was lucky to have known him and he inspired my love of history.

Anyways, I hope everyone who gets one has a somber and pleasant Remembrance Day long weekend

Glad I have a decent 9500watt portable generator. Lost a phase at meter box, so only have 120vac in half the house. No hvac, oven, cooktop,water heater or water (I'm on a 220vac water well). Hooked the gen up to the water well so now I have water to take showers. Cant replace meter box until Monday morning. I wired the gen up so that my water well, garage (for septic) and coincidentally enough, my studio will have power when it's running. There's a shower and water heater in studio, soo should be set for the weekend. Water should be mild too, so that's a plus.

I've a pair of electric space heaters that will maintain the house temp as long as it's above 20F outside, unfortunately if the power goes out I'm screwed, I left my 18000btu propane heater on the island. Should have brought it home to work in the garage.

The lack of heat in the house wasn't really an issue all weekend. Temps stayed in high 50-low 60. Had water well on portable gen so had running water 3 times a day. When hot water ran out in main house, used studio/ guest house for showers sunday night. All in all not too bad. Grilled meat and microwaved sides. Hopefully all stays good, as I head back to work tomorrow.
