My boss had a talk with me today because I refer to clients as "sweetie" and "darlin" and so on, as I have always done. He told me to stop, not because it was unprofessional, but because he said I was putting myself n danger. Wth? I don't even know what that means. He has never had a problem with it before. It's all part of our stupid gender neutral or gender neutered society. Someone must've come up to him and said they wanted a date with you or something. But, some men, all it takes is a look their way and they think "she wants me". How do you protect against that?

Maybe it's a newer client who misconstrued it? I think if you have established clients your actions would spell out that it's just a professional relationship you're after.

Unfortunately you have to professionally distance yourself from people in today's society otherwise it can be misunderstood as flirtatious or even leading someone on. I found that in the lunchroom I could be more "real" but when I was dealing with a customer, I'd be a little bit different in my manner.

I had Mountain Dew + all my vitamins (the doc recommended 400 mg/day of B2 to help ward off the migraines, and it's definitely cut down on the frequency of them) + Excedrin + prescription strength Naproxin + a quick hot shower + a quick jilling off in said shower (endorphins can do wonders for pain!). The migraine went down to a dull, throbbing headache. So I guess there was some success there. I've had a horrible throbbing headache with spikes into a migraine for two or three days now, and it's just really getting old. There are points in the day that it'll even subside into only a mild headache, but it's been like a roller coaster, and not in the fun way. :(

Push ups, though? Never thought of that. I will have to keep a quick burst of exercise in mind for the next time the headache gets worse.
