Just to clarify, the damn roof on the salon is looking pretty weather beaten today, the roof covering (whatever that's called) is flapping about in the wind and there's a rather large crack appeared where the wall meets the ceiling in one of the beauty rooms, its gusting up to 80mph at the moment, the hotel said they will call me if anything happens, even if its 4am, oh the joy :meh:

When I first moved to Colorado in 1995, there were people booby trapping the highway northeast of Denver. I-76 is the highway that heads from Denver northeast into Nebraska and intersects with I-80. Once you get outside the city at night, it gets dark in a hurry out there with no city lights/street lights on the highway. About 50 or 60 miles outside of Denver (might have even been a bit farther away, I don't remember exactly) there was a person/people (dunno because they never caught who it was) that were making these things like custom made sawhorses where the top surface of it was about level with a car windshield. They would then put a cinder block on top of it and paint it all black and put it right in the middle of one of the lanes on the interstate. Speed limit on that highway is 75 mph, so at night it is real easy to come up on something and not see it until it was too late. If I remember right, a couple of people were hurt, but I don't believe anyone was killed.

I can barely play guitar so when I sang and tried to play rhythm, it was a farce :lol: The 3 guys were excellent musicians and could cover just about any sound....they said I did pretty good as a singer. (as opposed to no-singer I guess :lol:)
