They aren't as fragile as you may think...I've had 7 Guinea Pigs in my time and still have 1. Yours have each other which is good...otherwise you might have to do more like holding them a bit so they hear another heartbeat. All except 2 of mine have died of old age. They usually have a Stroke and then it's all over.

Both of the last 2 we had had colds when we got them...one had pneumonia and died recently (I think I wrote about it somewhere here) but the other one got over it and is doing fine.
