"Appears in the crowd at the derby in Sweet and Elite, in the crowd in The Last Roundup, and running away from Cerberus in It's About Time. Also appears with the mane of Cherry Cola in A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2. His cutie mark is a telescope."

since you're a yank, I'm gunna assume your car has a big-ish engine and has a few electrical gizmos, so the price may be a little high, but not a rip off

I talked with my dad last night...after trying to be honest yesterday, I am going to chose the dishonest route now. I am going to tell the counselor that my dad thinks all the crap they are asking from him is too invasive and he wants nothing to do with it. He has decided to move back to Vermont with my brother instead.

Of course that's a complete lie, but he and I (and it seems everyone here too) think it's total bullshit.

That sounds like a good plan. I've learned when dealing with banks and the Govt that telling the truth is rarely the best path to take.

I'm not sure what they can do after the sale has gone thru...I mean, how can they restrict who can live in my house after I qualify? What if me and my g/f got serious and decided we wanted to get married? Are they gonna say she couldn't live with me in that house for 30 years (or however much length of time is left on the mortgage) because now the household has too much income?

Well no, not that, but they might try and recover the amount they subsidized the sale with from you. And they might report you for fraud as well.

We have low income condos at the end of our street and there's a waiting list to get in. A couple was busted there after securing a mortgage because they didn't report his income. They were stupid though...apparently one of them had two jobs and drove a Lexus, which was a wee bit out of the norm in a parking lot full of shopping carts and budget cars....

Arkady's got a point. You and I both know how big business fraud is in this country. And you never see the little guy getting pinched for it, because it's not a grand amount of money that they're getting pinched for and the media doesn't give a shit about it, but people do get pinched all the time for fraud.

I'm starting to think that maybe it's not such a good idea that you go after this house, maybe you can wait for something else to come along? If they ok it with what you've given them so far, that's one thing... but I wouldn't push it.

On a serious note, if your Dad is a deal breaker, move on. Don't lie to get the house. Trust me, there are others just as nice to be had. Take your time. It took me two years to find my place, and though it's not perfect (due to mobile home) I had certain things I was looking for: Land, improvements, separate garage/workshop, and outside city limits. My wife about drove me crazy with all the fussing for me turning down otherwise nice places. I had a guaranteed loan for X amount before I even talked to realtors. I searched the websites as well as enlisted 3 realtors for my search. I also stayed well below the max amount I could have used on the loan.

I know it's hard to do, but my advice, for what it's worth, is walk away.

Damn, that's still a long time to wait...can't you get the office to prescribe you painkillers or something to get you by since the pain is that bad?

I don't usually ask...I took 2 percocet a couple of weeks ago that worked, but regular dentists can't prescribe that because it's a 3 star medication (opiate).

It's a little complex but my symptoms literally change daily, from muscle swelling to headaches to straight up tooth pain. Another behavior is to bounce from dentist to dentist to doctor trying to get relief, and I've been through a lot of that in the past. It's better for me to wait it out, continue treatment with same guy rather than get something to mask symptoms.

Most patients with my crap end up doing that and still have jaw pain. It removes the teeth as vehicles for pain reactions, but part of my gig is called non procreation of the ligaments, meaning my teeth, nerves and muscles don't know what to do each time I chew..or talk...or sleep.

I debated that but quite honestly I'm afraid of spending months getting teeth removed, then healing, then trying to get dentures to adapt to my jaw process.

Anytime it would record to the hard drive or you tried to watch a recorded show, the box would shut-off and reboot (which takes up to 5 minutes sometimes). Nazarene, charlatan, what can you offer humanity? Since the hour you vomited forth from the gaping wound of a woman, you have done nothing but drown man's soaring desires in a deluge of sanctimonious morality. You've inflamed the pubertal mind of youth with your repellent dogma of original sin. And now you absolve in denying them the ultimate joy beyond death by destroying me ? But you will fail, Nazarene, as you have always failed. We were both created in man's image, but while you were born of an impotent god, I was concieved of a jackal. Born of Satan, the desolate one. Your pain on the cross was but a splinter compared to the agony of my father. Cast out of heaven, the fallen angel, banished, reviled. I will drive deeper the thorns into your rancid carcass, you profaner of vices. Cursed Nazarene. Satan, I will avenge thy torment, by destroying the Christ forever

If there is a god (in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary) I'm sure he sent the Holy Spirit out more than just once because it'd be just too funny to resist the temptation.

that's weird...I was looking at a copy of that last night and wondering the same thing

must have not left much of an impression on me the first time because I can't recall much about it other than being filmed in a grainy style...
