Rumours that Sam Raimi's cult horror film The Evil Dead is due a "quasi-remake" have been confirmed. Horror movie site Bloody Disgusting has reported that the fourth instalment will not be a continuation of the third film Army of Darkness, released in 1992, but rather a remake of Raimi's original. Federico Alvarez, who made his name with his low budget sci-fi short Panic Attack, is set to direct.

Work on the film is said to have begun in Detroit, with long-term Raimi collaborater Bob Murawski commenting that it will be "a small indie thing, like the first two". Bruce Campbell, who played demon-hunter Ashley "Ash" Williams in the trilogy, is not expected to appear. Some fan sites have suggested that Ash may become a female character in Alvarez's version.

Aawww... did you check your computer meets the requirements of the HD cam? And what about the latest drivers and all that jazz? Cuz otherwise it doesn't make any sense and it might be a flaw in the cam. Possibly get it changed?

My computer is definitely able to handle the camera, and it has all the latest drivers. The camera I've had actually a little longer than this laptop, but I gave the webcam to my hubby when I upgraded computers, since the new laptop had a built-in camera (even though the webcam in the laptop was a downgrade) and he didn't have one. The only thing I can figure is that maybe the USB port I have it in isn't a USB 2.0, and that's slowing things down. Not sure, though. I'll have to switch it to another port and see if it looks any better. This one also seems to have a harder time with low-light quality than the built-in one, which is a shame since I live in a basement, and there's pretty much always not much light... :lol:

If I had a toaster oven I would do it that way. I do a combination of microwave and oven. I get the cheese bubbly in the microwave, then move over to the oven to make the crust all crispy. :mrgreen:
