If they don't like it, then I'm sure there's driveways that need to be shoveled in southern mainland NY this winter.

Now granted, I only have 2 nephews to worry about, but I usually give them $50 either by check, or in a gift card they're asking for. So between the 2, I'm only spending $100. It sounds like you've got a few more than me, so if I was in your shoes, I might cut it down to $25 to try to be fair and not go into massive debt.

As for the rest of my family, my Mom gets hooked up every year. There's really no limit and she makes off like a thief every year because everybody feels the same as I do about taking care of Mom on Christmas. My sister and her husband get $50 gift cards each to particular stores they're into, plus an Itunes card and a gift card to one of their favorite restaurants. My brother gets a $50 gift card, and that's about it. He won't let me spend any more than that on him. He tells me to give it to the kids or just take care of myself. If I ever spend more, he sends it back to me.

My sister has two dogs that she spoils rotten, so on occasion I might pick up a couple of toys for them or a big ass box of milkbones.

That's my Christmas spending.
