If adaware has an active scanner you need to turn it off in settings. That way it only scans when you tell it to and doesn't run all the time. If this is the case and it's on all the time it's probably why AVG is having a fit.

I swear, I tried that already Pony. I tried the two and three screwdriver trick. I tried the tie straps and twisting the wheel in place over the peg brake trick. I took the wheel off and kept the tie straps on, and tried to force it with a heavy flathead and it still won't go. The son of a bitch just won't stretch. They're the same exact size as the last set and I put those on myself with relative ease. I'm thinking I need a blowtorch.

You might be onto something there. Not a blowtorch but maybe a hair dryer or in the oven on VERY low heat (Preheat, make sure the element is off). If you can get it up to 120-140 degrees it should make the tire more pliable without damaging it.

Yea, Usually they don't like going from a bigger drive to smaller plus trying to clone an active drive.... I've tried everything (twice) and found removing the C and doing a recovery or fresh install on the new drive that's now automatically assigned C is the only solution I've had any success with.

According to the software it said it would make a bootable clone of the existing hard drive. It took more than 2 hours to do it and it was all a waste. I put the SSD in and booted the laptop up, which it actually did, but during the boot all kinds of errors came up about corrupt or missing critical files.

Oh well, at least it wasn't expensive...now I just need to find my Win7 disc so I can do a fresh install.

You actually have a w7 disk? I have a recovery disk I burned for mine, that way you have the drivers. Down side is you get the bloatware back. Also made a recovery u.s.b for that laptop.

That's usually something you get prompted for on a new comp with a recovery partition. It's possible you don't have one? If so it should be in the settings or start menu. What brand?

I told the apprentice to check the spare tyre (to do this, you've got to open 2 cabinet door things to gain access to the secret compartment under where the coffin sits) one of the guys was hiding in said compartment and just as the apprentice opened the secret doors, the guy let his arm fall out as if it was leaning against the door.... the poor fucker absolutely shit himself!
