I was looking to obtain the latest standard for the programming language I use, which was released in 2011, and they charge $280+ for the pdf.

I've been installing a few programs to test on my old PC, Just tried Mipony, I currently use Jdownloader because I like the unrar feature and the fact it saves rar passwords but don't like that it is JAVA based and always open to exploits.

Mipony is now back off my PC after 5 minutes of antivirus warnings, error messages and force installed bloatware.

I unticked the 3 boxes to not install all the crap browsers and toolbars, it installed them anyway (very tough to uninstall) I had updated to .net framework 3.5 10 minutes before and yet it says I need it installed to work and I had no less then 50 AV warnings on it. :dunno:

Change it to:

But they are aware of the problem and say it will be optional in a newer version.


We will set this as an option so that admin can manage to let user reply post with title or not title in 4.4.0.

The best way to do it is create a folder (mine's called custom) put all the pics in it you want to rotate.

Personally I like to keep that folder in the "C:/windows/web/wallpapers" location so I don't accidentally delete it but it's probably not necessary. (you can create a shortcut to desktop to make it easier to find and add pics later.)

Right click on desktop "personalize", at the bottom hit "desktop backgrounds"

Browse to the folder, tick/untick the boxes of the pics you want to use and at the bottom select frequency and if you want them to shuffle or not and save changes.

It's not hard to play. The biggest thing about Message is stamina. If you're not used to it, your fretting hand will poop out fast. It's the same thing with DMB's Satellite. It just takes time to build up stamina. Keep working at it.

There's nothing wrong with the blues. Anybody that knows anything about playing guitar understands your desire. SRV is a big influence on me. For a long time, I lived and breathed Couldn't Stand the Weather. The cool thing about the blues is it's really easy to trace back through a certain artist's influences, and then those influence's influences, and the influences before that as well... all the way back to the inception of Mississippi Delta blues of the late 1800s/early 1900s. If you keep doing that, you'll learn tons and tons. There's just a ton of great stuff all the way down the line.

Yeah, on that song, it's my fretting hand giving me fits. It's hard for me to cover 4 frets. I have relatively short fingers, and they are middle aged, and NOT used to stretching like that, lol. Yeah, on that song, it's my fretting hand giving me fits. It's hard for me to cover 4 frets. I have relatively short fingers, and they are middle aged, and NOT used to stretching like that, lol. I can't see what you're doing so I'm just going to make a broad general assumption and say this: You can cover more real estate by reaching for a stretch with your index and middle fingers, as opposed to stretching with your ring and pinky fingers. Some people might bitch about "position playing" but I don't subscribe to that notion. I'm more for efficiency and an index-middle finger stretch is far more efficient and fretboard covering than a ring-pinky stretch. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the ring-pinky stretch. In fact, it can be quite useful to develop.

My two cents on finger picking: You don't need to finger pick with your pinky. A lot of great guitar players don't bother. Don't get me wrong, you certainly can and you'll be better off with it if you do. It's always better to use five instead of just four. But for the most part, most finger pickers will only use their thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers on their picking hand. That's the way Classical players are taught, at least the ones I've encountered were. As an aside, the boys from Kansas didn't even use their ring finger, they only used their thumb, index, and middle fingers to pick out Dust in the Wind. I believe they call that 'Travis picking'. Anyway, guitarists generally regard the pinky finger on the picking hand as the only finger we'd be willingly to give up and cut off if we absolutely had to choose.
