TULSA - A Tulsa man is accused of beating up his own parents, then picking a fight with first responders.
Police say it all started at a home in west Tulsa as a family feud fueled by alcohol.
A man who'd been drinking came to his mother and stepfather's house, police say, and beat up both of his parents before taking their money and stealing their car.
After first responders arrived, police say the man, Kevin Rash, returned to the scene and tried to pick a fight with a firefighter.
"One of the firefighters is a professional mixed martial arts fighter, so that would not have bode well for the young man," said Sgt. Pat Harker, with the Tulsa Police Department.
Rash was arrested for assault while his parents were transported to a local hospital.
