Had full on mullet before football season that year. We started winning, and all got crew cuts. Went on to win state class 1A, 9 man style

Think small ass school, and a small district (1A). We didn't have enough players to field 11 guys, so, we played 9 man iron man rules (you played offense and defense, the whole game). My graduating class had 28 people in it, and all of or sports teams had "jv" for backups. Of the 28, iirc, the we're 13 guys, and of them, only 8 of us were jocks.
oh, and win state means state championship. We were undefeated that year.
