Police arrested a passenger on a flight from Nashville International Airport yesterday after she allegedly threatened a flight attendant.
Lashonda Williams was on a United Airlines flight from Nashville to Houston when she made the threat, according to her arrest warrant. When a flight attendant told her to turn her cell phone off after take off, Williams allegedly responded, “I kill white people like you.”
“Anxiety and fear” rippled through the plane after the alleged threat, according to the warrant. The plane landed and returned to the gate.
Police responded to the scene and charged Williams, 43, with assault.
