Rodney Brown charged with domestic battery
POLK COUNTY, Fla. —Deputies said a Polk County man used marijuana plants to beat up his brother.
Rodney Brown, 31, was arrested over the weekend in Lakeland after he and 33-year-old Jackie Brown got into a verbal altercation at the house they share.
Deputies said while fighting with his brother, Rodney Brown uprooted several cannabis plants, some up to 3 feet tall, from the home and hit his brother in the face.
Rodney Brown allowed authorities to search the property, according to officials. They found 10 marijuana plants outside and drug paraphernalia inside the house.
Rodney Brown was arrested on domestic battery and drug charges.
