Anderson Cooper is descended from the Vanderbilts, but I don't think he inherited anything. And oddly enough, Timothy Olyphant (Raylan Givens on Justified) is descended from the Vanderbilts as well, although his relation to Cooper is distant.

It's also interesting to note that Taylor Swift's parents are ridiculously rich from banking and financial services. She was never gonna have a problem with money regardless whether she made it or not.

I watched this documentary a few months ago made by a descendant of the Johnson & Johnson family. Pretty interesting documentary on kids born into money, it's definitely a different life.
