A man from Chicago has been accused of driving around without his pants on, according to the Chicago Tribune on Friday. The man is being accused of driving through a condominium complex in Des Plaines which is a near northwest suburb of Chicago. Sheriff’s police were informed of the man’s unacceptable behavior just before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred in the 9900 block of Linda Lane in Des Plaines, according to witnesses who called in to say that they saw a man was driving a silver-colored 2011 Toyota Camry around their condominium property. They also reported that the man was nude from the waist down. Additionally, it was reported by the Cook County Sheriff’s office press release that the man was gratifying himself.
Sometime later, police stopped a man who was driving a vehicle that matched the description of the one given by witnesses. After being stopped in the 9500 block of Dee Road, police discovered that the man was indeed exposed by being naked from the waist down. Also, authorities found pornographic magazines inside the vehicle that the man was driving during his escapade. Then, witnesses identified the man as the driver that they saw driving through the condominium complex. Finally, he was taken into custody.
It is being reported that detectives later found out that the exposed driver of the vehicle, Aleksandar Mihailovic, a 54-year-old man who resides in the 6500 block of Irving Park Road in Chicago, has been convicted of public indecency in the past, according to the Daily Mail. In fact, Mihailovic was convicted three times for public indecency. Previously, he had also been convicted of criminal sexual abuse. The man was charged with one count of public indecency for Thursday’s occurrence. His bail is set at $30,000, and he is to appear in the Skokie Courthouse on July 1.
