Police have arrested the mother of a Manchester Middle School student for bringing a gun to her daughter's school bus stop.

Shiquita D. Reed, 33, is charged with five misdemeanor counts of brandishing a firearm.
Police say Reed brought the gun to the school bus stop Monday morning because her daughter was being bullied by other students.
Police say some students told their principal they saw Reed at the bus stop with a handgun in a holster on her waist.
