DENVER - A Denver man was charged Thursday with posting intimate photos of his ex-girlfriend on the internet without her knowledge.
Michael Clasen, 25, is accused of posting the intimate photos of the 19-year-old victim on July 1, in violation of the state's new revenge-porn law.
Prosecutors say it's the first such case filed in Denver with the new law. Colorado was one of nine states this year to pass laws to punish revenge porn, which is when people post explicit photos or videos of former lovers to humiliate them.
Clasen is also accused of stalking the victim and vandalizing her car. He was charged with two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of stalking, posting an image for harassment and possession of an illegal weapon.
Clasen was arrested last Sunday and remains in custody in the Denver Detention Center; his bond is set at $50,000.
