Around 8:00 pm on Sunday, two witnesses were strolling through Ryerson's Woods Park near Iowa City, Iowa, when they spotted a man, laying “completely naked” on a park bench. As the scene came into focus, the two witnesses watched as the naked man masturbated.
The witnesses confronted the man, 43-year-old Gerald C. Meyer, who told them that he was in fact, “playing with himself.”
Meyers took off in a van which police tracked down shortly thereafter. The witnesses were able to pick Meyers out of a six photo line-up and he was charged with indecent exposure.
